Steel Side Hinged
Side hinged garage doors open like a traditional pedestrian door, with two door leaves connected by hinges to a steel frame. They are ideal where there are obstructions inside the garage or where easy regular access is needed without opening the full width.
Novoferm steel side hinged doors are made to measure and supplied complete with a 50mm galvanised steel frame. All door leaf frames are manufactured from galvanised steel for strength, durability and long-term weather resistance.
Customers can choose a 50/50 split with both leaves equal in size, or an offset configuration creating one larger active leaf and a smaller secondary leaf. (Offset configuration is available on selected designs only, including 9 Panel Georgian and Vertical.)
Doors can be specified to open inwards or outwards, with the lock positioned on the left or right-hand side. A left-hand opening option is also available.

High security Euro profile mortice lock with centre overlap, plus twin shoot bolts at the top and bottom for added protection against forced entry.

All doors are bespoke and manufactured to your exact opening size. Supplied complete with a 50mm galvanised steel frame for strength and durability.

Configurations
Available in a 50/50 split or selected offset configurations. Doors can open inward or outward, with the active leaf positioned left or right to suit your layout. UKCA certified.

Stays
Integrated stays prevent the door opening further than 110 degrees, helping protect the hinges and surrounding brickwork.

This warranty applies to manufacturing faults and is subject to correct installation, care and maintenance.
Doors located in high corrosive environments, such as within three miles of the sea, require more frequent cleaning and maintenance. Coastal exposure is not covered for rust or corrosion of steel components.
