Designed for convenience
Made from double skinned aluminium with a foam infill to provide insulating properties, the Hormann RollMatic is custom made to your space, meaning it can suit openings of any kind.
The roller shutter garage door was originally designed to be rear mounted on the back of your reveal, and the Hormann RollMatic is no different, giving a seamless frontwards appearance with only the curtain visible.
Like all roller doors, the Hormann Rollmatic allows you the space to park right up to the garage door, increasing the amount of available space on your driveway. The ceiling area of the garage remains clear, providing additional space for you to utilise.
Features of the RollMatic
The Hormann RollMatic is available as a manual or automated roller shutter.
The automated version is electronically operated through either a wall mounted push button or a remote control handset, and comes with 2 handsets as standard. An internal courtesy light is also provided and can be set to come on each time the door is operated, or can be operated independently.
The Hormann RollMatic has a couple of unique features. It was designed from the start to use Hörmann’s low voltage 24V DC motor, which is the same that is used in their Up & Over or Sectional Garage Door range. Because the Hörmann uses an external motor, the emergency manual override is easier to use than other roller doors and is operated by simply pulling a cord.

Optional extras on the Hormann Rollmatic
- Chamfered bottom profile
The solution for sloping ground: A chamfered aluminium bottom weather seal compensates for differences in height over the entire door width (max. 300 mm).
The profile can be fitted without any difficulty. It is simply screwed onto the inserted curtain.
The bottom profile is delivered powder-coated in Jet black (similar to RAL 9005) as standard.
On request, the bottom profile is also available in a colour matching the door colour. - Additional fascia panel
This stabilises the fascia panel during fitting in the opening or behind the opening, if the panel can be seen in the opening. It harmoniously covers the lintel without any unattractive fitting holes. The panel is available in the colour of the door or with a Decograin surface. - Fitting compensation set
With uneven walls, the optional fitting compensation set for flush door fitting can be applied. This is particularly advantageous for modernisations or timber structures.
